School Subscribers receive the Newsademic newspaper in both PDF and HTML formats. Schools are permitted to make as many copies of the PDF files as they wish for use within the school.
If you are a teacher and want to arrange a subscription for your school, either you or a member of your finance department will need to complete the School Subscriber registration process.
The first step is to select if you wish to pay by credit card online or receive an invoice and pay later. During the registration process the name and email address of the 'named person' (the member of staff to whom the newspaper is to be sent) will need to be recorded, as well as the subscription plan your school requires and if the Classroom Activities and Answer Key options should be included.
School Subscribers can request an invoice or pay online via credit card (more than ten different currencies are accepted, for a list click here). Options are also available to pay by internet banking, wire/bank transfer and BACs. Please note check payments can only be made in Euros (€), US Dollars (US$) or Great British Pounds (£).
You are able to choose when you want your School subscription to start. This can be immediately, or on a date in the future. After completing your online payment or invoice request the 'named person' will be able to log in to the Newsademic website.
If your School subscription is to start immediately the named person, by logging in to the Newsademic website, will have access to a full archive of all past newspapers in both PDF and HTML format. If you chose a subscription date in the future the 'named person's' logged in view will be restricted until the subscription begins.
After your payment or invoice request has been processed the person completing the registration process will receive several email messages confirming the school's subscription details and that the subscription has been activated. Towards the end of the subscription period the named person will receive two emails as a reminder that the School's subscription is about to come to an end.
From the logged in view of the Newsademic website the named person or member of the finance department will able to renew, extend, or add options to the School's current subscription.
During the registration process, and at any time afterwards, the 'named person' can choose to receive the PDF version of the newspaper as an email attachment or as a 'download' from the Newsademic website.
Once the school subscription has begun the 'named person' will receive, or be able to download, the latest issue of the newspaper every other Friday. Depending on in which country and international time zone your school is, the newspaper will be made available every other Friday, during the day, or in the evening.
