Family Subscribers are parents, or adults, who wish to buy one or more subscriptions on behalf of their children, relatives or friends.

Family Subscribers, and the people on whose behalf they buy subscriptions, receive the Newsademic newspaper in both PDF and HTML formats. The people on whose behalf the subscriptions have been purchased also have access to a range of additional online features or tools (called ‘Online Extra’). There is no restriction on the number of subscriptions a Family Subscriber can purchase on behalf of others.

If you wish to become a Family Subscriber you will need to complete the Family Subscriber registration process. During this process you will need to register your name and email address, the country in which you live, and record your own password. As part of the process you will also register the names and email addresses of each person for whom you wish to buy a subscription. You then select the subscription plan you want them to have and whether you wish to include the Classroom Activity and Answer Key options.

Family Subscribers can pay online via credit card or Paypal (more than ten different currencies are accepted, for a list click here). Options are also available to pay by internet banking, wire/bank transfer and BACs. Please note that check payments can only be made in Euros (€), US Dollars (US$) or Great British Pounds (£).

You are able to choose when you want the subscription(s) to start. This can be on the registration date, or on a date in the future. After completing your online payment you can immediately access your ‘logged in view’ of the Newsademic website. If your subscription(s) are to start immediately you will have access to a full archive of all past issues of the newspaper, in both PDF and HTML format.

Those on whose behalf you have purchased subscriptions will have the same access and be able to make immediate use of all their Online Extra features. If you chose a subscription date in the future your ‘logged in view’ will be restricted until your subscription begins.

After your payment has been processed you, and those on whose behalf you have purchased a subscription(s), will receive several email messages. These will list all the subscription(s) details and confirm the subscription(s) are activated. Towards the end of the subscription period you will receive an email reminding you that the subscription(s) you purchased is/are about to come to an end.

From your logged in view of the Newsademic website you are able to renew, extend or add options to the current subscription(s) you purchased. You are also able to buy further (gift) subscriptions on behalf of others.

During the registration process, and at any time afterwards, you can choose to receive the PDF version of the newspaper as an email attachment or as a ‘download’ from the Newsademic website.

Once your subscription has begun you, and those for whom you have purchased a subscription, will receive or be able to download the latest issue of the newspaper every other Friday. Depending on in which country and international time zone you live the newspaper will be made available every other Friday, during the day, or in the evening.
